April, 2012 Dear Pastors, Supporting Churches and Friends,
What a miraculous transformation is brought about by spring! - Less than a month ago
we had snow; and now we are having temperatures in the mid teens; grass is growing and flowers are beginning to bloom.
- We
certainly do serve a wonderful God.
- We are praying for an equally wonderful transformation in the lives of people here in
Moldova Noua and surrounding area.
- On that note we are happy to report that two more young people received the Lord as
their Saviour in the past month; Bogdi aged 19yrs, grandson of Spasa.
- Spasa has been with us since the beginning of the church,
and Bogdi recently moved back to Radimna to live with his Grandfather, and Florinaaged 12yrs, a friend of the other girls, who
has been coming to church for the past few months.
- Both have started discipleship lessons, music and English classes.
Today, 3rd April, I finally received in my hand the papers for the building. - It has taken that long to go through the
hurdles, most of which were waiting for legal time frames (40 days after the close of the “auction” and then 15 days after paying
the full amount for it to be “cleared” of it’s repossession status) and we still have some to go, but at least we can now have
possession of the building.
- Praise the Lord! The building has been paid for in full, so thank you for all those churches and
individuals that helped.
- We now have some work to do to get the building ready for services.
- We plan to remove a wall to make
the meeting room larger and also to paint and put up curtains in the main room.
- This we want to have done by 22nd for our 2nd
Anniversary Service.
- This will also be the first Sunday for Myles and Emily Ryan to be with us.
We also plan to extend the roof and it’s pitch to cover the extension at the side. It needs fencing for security, and tidying up outside.
- These things we plan to do over a period of time.
- Before that though,we have Easter, which this year in Eastern Europe falls a week after your Easter.
- We are hoping for visitors and have special services planned for this time.
At the end of April we are expecting a visit from Pastor and Mrs. Vezsely from Calvary Baptist in Melbourne and we are planning an Evangelistic Outreach for that weekend.
PRAISE POINTS:
- For the building which at last is in our hands!
We again thank all those that gave towards this. -
For those saved recently; Bogdi and Florina. As well as all the others saved previously.
-
For the warmer weather, and the opportunities and activities that it allows.
PRAYER POINTS:
- For preparations for the Ryan family arriving here 20th April, for their travels, visas and for the security at the campsite.
-
For continued spiritual growth of the people in the church and their faithfulness to the work.
For the salvation of many more
people who we have contact with. For new contacts and visitors to come to our church in the new location. -
For the up coming Services; Anniversary, Easter and Evangelistic meetings which we are planning and preparing for.
-
For the building renovations to go smoothly and safely.
PERSONAL NOTE:
- Pray for Kaitlyn who is currently in Australia (until 28th May) finalizing her schooling,/working and preparing for her wedding.
- Pray for Megan, Lisa and Brown, and Brendan and Angellica; who are also so far away from us.
- Also for Annette who will be
away for 4 weeks visiting family,
- most specially Brendan and Angellica expecting their 2nd baby in late May.
Love in Christ, Billy and Annette.

February, 2012. Dear Pastors, Supporting Churches and Friends,
We send you warmest greetings from Moldova Noua, Romania where we have at the moment freezing
conditions, and one of the coldest winters they tell us since 1954! Our hearts remain warm and we thank you for your
encouragement and prayers for the Lord’s work here in Romania.

In our last prayer letter we asked for your prayers and help in the purchase of a building for the church here.
- Because the building has gone through liquidation, the process of its sale is a drawn out auction process, which should
be finalised, Lord willing, on the 28th February 2012.
- At this point we would like to thank those churches and
individuals who have given sacrificially towards this purchase, and we pray that the Lord will richly reward each giver.
-
The people in our church have seen the hand of God moving, and they are aware that they have been entrusted to do the
Lord’s work here.

On the 18th December we held evangelistic meetings here with Independent Baptist Missionary to Belgrade, Danny
Foss as our guest speaker. At the evening meeting an appeal was made, and Praise the Lord six came forward, five being
for salvation. - The following week was Christmas.
- We had 5 services over Christmas and door to door caroling on
Christmas Eve.
- These services were well attended.
On January 7th (Saturday) we decided to hold an extra service as it
was Serbian Christmas. - As most of the people who come to our church are from Serbian villages, we thought it would
be nice to give them an opportunity to be in the House of the Lord while their villages held other festivities.
We have now commenced a youth group on Friday nights, with Danny and Stephanie Copriva leading this work.

Our ladies’ weekly meeting which started in July 2011 is going well, and is held at Iasna’s house in Radimna.(see photo)
- Our weekly youth discipleship classes continue each Thursday afternoon
- as well as English classes for the youth of our church.
Stephanie continues with her 3 classes for younger children which are held as an outreach.
- Stephanie also has private lessons with a Romanian teenage girl, teaching her to read and write in Romanian, as this girl never went to school but is
keen to be able to read the Bible and hymn book.
- The weekly Wednesday night prayer meetings are well attended by
the faithful. Our people know this is the engine room of the church.
PRAISE POINTS:
- For the building purchase which is progressing well, and we again thank all those that gave towards this.
- For those saved at the Evangelistic meetings. Dimitru who was one of the ones saved (you have been praying for him in
the past) is now praying for the rest of his family and is at every service.
- Also Bojana,(in the picture of the ladies above) the lady baptized last summer, her
grandson, Denis was one of the others saved.
PRAYER POINTS:
- A planned outreach to the Ukraine this spring, as a missions trip for some of the people in our church.
- For preparations
for the Ryan family to come here, for their visas
- and for the security at the campsite.
- For the finalization of the building
purchase to proceed without any problems.
- For continued spiritual growth of the people in the church and their
faithfulness to the work.
PERSONAL NOTE:
Nicu Dimitrovici and our daughter Kaitlyn announced their engagement, and plan to be married here in Romania in
September 2012. Kaitlyn is currently in Australia finalizing her schooling.
Thank you and God bless,
Billy and Annette and Kaitlyn.

October, 2011
Dear Pastors and Praying Friends,
Greetings to you all from all of us here in Moldova Noua. We were certainly blessed at being able to “see”
many of you at the recent NBF which we watched live over the internet. We enjoyed the preaching and were thankful
for this wonderful technology and the people behind all the work getting the NBF organized. May God bless you for this
labour.
- Autumn has brought a sudden change in temperatures and we ready ourselves for another European winter, and
another season in His service.
- Schools have returned after the long summer holidays and it means for us a time of more
serious labour.
- Nicu has resumed Institute studies with me, 2 days a week.
- He preaches once every Sunday, leads the
prayer time on Wednesday, and has one young man he’s discipling, as well as others for visitation.
- He’s a great help in
the ministry. He is fully supported through us and now, and has a reliable van, which we fuel, for the use of bringing people
from his village to church.
- This is one way your support is working in practical ways to help prepare the next generation
in Romania.
It’s slow progress here as it is in the “West” and with NO Independent Bible Colleges here, it’s the best we
can do. - We’re praying for more young men willing to surrender to full time service who need to be trained!
“Vestea Buna” Church continues to average attendances of 15.
We’d like to see that number doubled! At the moment we are concentrating on discipling our current members, and besides the Discipleship course, running for Adult Sunday
School; we have 4 individual studies running.
- From here; we’ll be reaching out to all of Moldova Noua again.
- One main
“stumbling block” to people coming to our church is that we are meeting in the current rented premises which are a
ground floor apartment..
- To most people this does not convey the appearance of “a church”.
We have been praying for a
long time - and it is our utmost desire; to purchase a free-standing building.
- If any church or individual would be willing in assisting in this please let us know.
- Other than on-going ministry we’re planning a trip to Belgrade on 14/10 to distribute tracts and outreach to a gypsy
settlement in the heart of Belgrade.
- This will be an evangelistic experience for the Serbian speakers in our church as well
as an encouragement for a new missionary in Serbia;
- and we pray for the people there who will be ministered to with the
Gospel.
We’re planning a youth visit to Turnu-Severin in 2 weeks and next week I’m going to Timisoara with Nicu and
a young man from our church to a Missionary Conference where Dr Bill Smith will be speaking.
PRAISE POINTS:
- God’s faithfulness towards us as we continue in His service.
- For the opportunities He has given us.
- For the van and the
people who come to church each week.
Click This is the building we’re praying about @ $45,000 AUD
Click It is on the main road into town.
PRAYER POINTS:
- For a free-standing building.
- For our continued outreach in our area and the surrounding areas, including Serbia.
- For
souls to be won to Christ, and for the saints to grow and be fruitful.
- For a family to be fitly prepared to join us here and
to help complete the camp building and have it fully utilized.
- For Danny and Steph as they settle into married life and
faithfully teach Sunday School to the children.
- Pray for more children to attend.
- For Kaitlyn as she finishes school.
- For
our children in Australia.
Thank you and God bless,
Billy and Annette; and Kaitlyn.
