Prayer Letter- May 2008 Dear Friends,
Greetings. It seems we are consistently finding groups of nationals that have been left to fend for themselves. So we are working hard to preserve many of these pastors and churches from falling by the wayside. Many of the pastors have been promised much but many times these promises vaporize and much of the work and workers are lost to weaker groups. - Please pray that God will allow me to continue with many pastors schools to help them.
These schools run from 3-5 days and are full of lessons that will help these nationals to grow and pastor their people in a Scriptural direction.
Recently these schools have been in Cambodia ,India, and several countries in central America. Many of the pastors don't have libraries of any kind or sunday school materials etc .On top of this many have no support at all .Many of the pastors could reach out beyond their villages if they had the opportunity to be taught.
Since January, I have preached at camps and missions conferences with great results, and there will be remaining fruit according to their testimonies. - We hope to see them on the field soon.
- Out of two conferences I preached, some 15 men have now gone on to Central America, and Columbia to start churches.
In Central America I was able to conduct several pastors schools. - These pastors arrived excited and went home bubbling with joy.
- In some South American countries, nationals are tied into different Baptist movements, and missions politics, inherited from the western world, which hinders them from coming to meetings.
- Please pray as this has caused hardship and much unnecessary confusion for many.
All want to come and enjoy each other's company and learn from the Word.
- Keep praying for our boot camps that are for practical training of missions minded young people.
- I am praying to be able to run these in Africa, Eastern Europe and South America.
We already have one in Vanuatu and one in Missouri USA.
These will need some funding and we ask you to pray and help us as God leads.
In colleges around the Western world, less than 0.25% go to the mission field.
- We pray to raise that figure.
- Our boot camps will enhance any Bible college program and can be run just about anywhere during any summer break or any time of the year.
This year I got caught in tornadoes, floods and earthquakes, which makes it a little more exciting! There's is no time to be bored, we find ourselves continually preparing for the next trip. Our Heavenly Father would have us break new ground and continue finding the unreached. Joy has had 4 months away helping in Cambodia and living with the Long Neck people of Northern Thailand on three separate visits. You can contact us by Clicking HERE-to E-mail us if you would like any photos or a story on the visits to the Long Necks.
YOU ARE A GREAT PART OF THIS MINISTRY AND WE NEED YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT . PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR SUPPORT AS AIR FARES HAVE GONE CRAZY ESPECIALLY TO THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES .WE APPRECIATE YOUR PRAYERS FOR US AND THANK OUR FATHER FOR YOU .

Prayer Letter-Joy Anger March 5th, 2008
Please pray for me. I am still in the place where our daughter and her husband are working;and will remain here for some time yet.
- Our daughter had to return to Australia with our Grand daughter after getting her foot caught in the bike wheel.
- I have very limited access to internet and emails so if you need something urgent please contact me
- otherwise please hold all unnecessary mail, prayer letters attachments ect until further notice.
- Sometimes in this extreme heat I am sitting in an internet place sifting through emails and taking over an hour to reply to one or two emails.
Gil will be away in Guatemala and the USA until May. I hope to return to the Long neck people on my way home - when I finally am able to leave. I had a very successful time with Mana and the village and they are anxious for my return. Presently I am helping a missionary here to mind four children under 6 plus hold the fort for our daughter. It is extremely dangerous on the roads here now and I see accidents everytime I go anywhere on the motor bike. - Pray for God's protection.
Love and prayers, Joy.
